GlobalProtect Android latest 5.2.5 APK Download and Install. Secure Network Connection. GlobalProtect for Windows Unified Platform connects to a GlobalProtect gateway on a Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewall allowing mobile users to benefit from the protection of enterprise. GlobalProtect for Android connects to a GlobalProtect gateway on a Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewall to allow mobile users to benefit from enterprise security protection. Enterprise administrator can configure the same app to connect in either Always-On VPN, Remote Access VPN or Per App VPN mode.
Objective
Download the GlobalProtect (GP) Agent from the Customer Support Portal
Environment
- Palo Alto Network Products.
- GlobalProtect (GP) Agent.
Procedure
- Open a web browser and navigate to the Customer Support Portal.
- Login with a valid Support Account.
- On the left pane, navigate to Updates and select Software Updates.
- Using the drop down arrow selection icon, select the required GlobalProtect Agent Software version.
Available options are:
- Windows 32-bit
- Windows 64-bit
- Windows UWP
- Linux
- OSX
- Android App
- Download the file by clicking on the file name under the Download column. In this example, GlobalProtect Agent for Windows 64 bit is selected.

Symptom
- Receiving commit warnings for every GlobalProtect agent config on the Portal(s)
Environment
- Panorama/Firewalls
- Apps&Threats version greater than 8252
Cause
The system tray notification was deprecated with GlobalProtect version 4.1 and removed with content update 8252-6025.
Resolution
To resolve on a firewall without Panorama management:
Via GUI:- Open each Portal and and click on the Agent tab
- Open each agent configuration
- Do not make any changes and then click ok
- Once this has been done for each agent config click OK again to close the GP Portal window
- Commit to the firewall
Via CLI:
- Enter the following command:
- Commit the changes
To resolve on a firewall with Panorama management:
- Make sure the Panorama has a Apps&Threats version greater than 8252
- From the Panorama CLI run this command for each template, portal, and agent config:
